Cancellation and Refund Policy

At TiaHouseboatAlleppey.com, we aim to provide a seamless experience for our guests. However, we understand that plans can change. The following cancellation and refund policy outlines our terms for cancellations and refunds.
1. Cancellation Policy
1.1 Cancellation by Guests
- Cancellation 30 days or more before Check-In: Full refund of the deposit.
- Cancellation between 15 and 29 days before Check-In: 50% refund of the deposit.
- Cancellation between 10 and 14 days before Check-In: 30% refund of the deposit.
- Cancellation less than 10 days before Check-In: No refund.
1.2 No-Show Policy
If a guest does not check in on the scheduled date without prior notice, no refund will be provided.
2. Refund Policy
2.1 Processing Refunds
- Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after receiving the cancellation request.
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used during booking. For payments made via credit or debit cards, additional time may be required depending on your bank’s processing times.
2.2 Partial Refunds
No refunds will be issued for unused portions of the service if a guest shortens their stay after the houseboat tour has commenced.
3. Rescheduling and Changes to Booking
3.1 Rescheduling
- Guests may request to reschedule their booking up to 15 days before the scheduled check-in date, subject to availability.
- Rescheduling requests made within 15 days of the check-in date may incur an additional fee. Rates for rescheduled bookings may vary based on new dates.
3.2 Changes to Itinerary
- Requests for changes to the itinerary may incur additional charges based on the nature of the changes and availability.
4. Cancellation by TiaHouseboat Alleppey.com
4.1 Cancellation Due to Weather or Unforeseen Circumstances
If we must cancel a booking due to severe weather, government restrictions, or unforeseen events beyond our control, we will offer:
- A full refund of the booking amount, OR
- An option to reschedule your trip at no additional cost.
4.2 Cancellation Due to Operational Reasons
If we need to cancel your booking due to operational reasons, such as mechanical issues with the houseboat, we will offer:
- A full refund, OR
- An option to reschedule your trip.
